Great food, large portions, quick service, friendly staff, and a huge menu.

Pretty good food. Overpriced. Sad communication between chef and waiter and no guy waiters.

Nice help the wife kept telling me to put my eyeballs back in my head stop slobbering on my chin

Everything was good. Service, food was fresh n hot. Wait was not long.We visit there often. A lot of food for the money. We will return.

Good food. Portions are large. Price is good. Family dining.

An overall nice experience. A very homey place. Chicken noodle soup was a bit salty, but eatable. The dinner rolls were super soft and warm, but the burger was slightly overcooked. The rice pudding had cinnamon--nice touch, tasted okay. Recommended for a town diner.

Our coffee cups were never empty, food was hot, tasty, and plentiful. Very reasonably priced. One of our favorite breakfast stops when we are in town!

First time here. Stopped with my son who picked this place from a list of restaurants on Google. NOT disappointed at all! Friendly waitress who was always available to us. Food was so plentiful that my 16 year old son couldn't finish his meal. Will make a point to come here again when I'm back in the area.

Very nice server and delicious food.

Was seared quick. Waitress immediately asked if ready to order. I asked for a quick minute to review menu. Then sat for 20 minutes with menu closed while waiting for her to cone back but walk past my table several times to help the 2 other tables in her section. Clearly the job is too much work for her.. Food might have been good but seemed it was quick service or no service and had to leave and eat somewhere else.

Ignored by staff when arrived. The hostess, possibly the manager, working the seating this evening. She Asked if I wanted a table or booth and the attitude was much like you can take it or leave it. Took forever to get waited on. Ordered the beef Manhattan with a chicken noodle soup. Neither had any taste to it. The food was really bland tasting. Check was delivered and I paid in cash. The waitress brought me my change back. She failed (I feel on purpose) to bring back enough change so that I could tip her a standard 20%. Instead she brought back change that would have been more than a 40% tip. As I was leaving the hostess, possibly the manager, made eye contact with me and didn't bother thanking me for my business. I will make sure to go down the street to Cracker Barrel next time.

Be prepared to be hungry before you go. They give you LOTS of food. I wasn't prepared to see all the food they brought to the table. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very pleased with their food and service. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is hungry.

Great breakfast, great staff, great environment. You get exactly what you pay for, and then some. I have not tried their dinners, but come here if you need a new breakfast joint!!

Food is ok, not 4 or 5 stars for sure. Service wasn't good. Ask for Pepsi, brought me a Coke and asked if that was ok, told her if they didn't have Pepsi I would take a Rootbeer, then had to remind her to bring me my vegetable. We were supposed to get dessert and didn't get it. Shouldn't have to tell them everything you suppose to get. Good luck with your dinner.

Came in at night time with a large group of people an we only had to wait a couple of minutes an were seated. Staff was very friendly an kind an went out of there way to make sure are party was well taken care off.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I come in with a elderly couple, wife in wheelchair, always making sure she's good. Prices are great always plenty of food.

Not pleased with meal. Had the stir fry and was 80% green beans, few shrimp, couple broccoli pieces & some other veggies, the sauce was not very good either, there also small portion of rice covered by all the green beans, waited 1/2 hour for a legal waitress to bring my beer. Not impressed with this restaurant..this is my opinion..

Solid family restaurant and a nice menu with lots to pick from. No frills and 90’s hometown diner decor, but the food was good, the service was fast and friendly, and it was right off the highway for easy access while driving through the area on business.

Delicious hot beef. Onion Soup had one huge piece of bread instead of croutons and NO cheese.😒 but otherwise good flavor. Philly Cheese steak and Chicken Soup both great. Four others enjoyed theirs' as well. Fifteen minute wait quoted but by the time we arrived...no wait...we had gone to another restaurant close by where they said 2 hour wait??? Good choice to move to Callahan's.

I've been eating at this place for many years and have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

Great prices, more than enough food and its very yummy. Staff is very nice and accommodating. I recommend this place if you want a somewhere with great food and a wonderful dessert section!

Love this place. We stopped here from Milwaukee on way to Ohio. Excellent food and service. I felt like I was a regular. Also took 15% off for Senior citizens! Will remember this place when I pass through again.

Very fast and friendly service with top notch meals.

Food is always good but was very disappointed in the service this evening. Put in a carry out order and it was completed in a reasonable time. Ask if they made sure everything was there. The servers response..."oh yes". I get home and we're missing the 2 baked potatoes to go with our fish dinners. I was also not happy with the fish dinners...one had twice as much fish as the other. I went back to the restaurant to get the potatoes and expressed my displeasure in a very respectful way. All I got was "sorry, I thought they were in the bag". When I showed them the picture of the fish, her response was, "oh, you got lucky. We never put that much fish in." I didn't ask for my money back or anything like that. I did mention that I wasn't happy that my fish would be cold when I got home. All I got was sorry! Good business practice would have been to offer a few hot pieces of fish or a free dessert for their mistake and my inconvenience.

Good food with great prices

Randi was great but the food was absolutely horrible. However it was quaint and we had privacy during a surprise outing to meet new people.

One of the restaurants I’ve been going to for over 15 years, makes me seem old, but the food is good, I only do breakfast because it’s very good, the pancakes are delicious and I just enjoy the company of my boyfriend and my sons whenever we all get up and ride out to come here for breakfast! The table is full of food and we laugh and eat and it’s just a wonderful time here at Callie’s!

Picked up Easter dinner for my family, including my elderly mother who regretted missing Easter services for the 1st time. The portions were generous, the price was reasonable and as always with Callahan's, the food was delicious. We really appreciated the folks at this restaurant giving up part of their Easter to make ours a little more palatable. Thanks to all of you.

Everyone was done eating in our already.Took them 30 minutes to nearly an hour before I was even given my salad . Only gave a discounted price of $3.00 off my meal just to add it back on with a 17% tip. No need to add an option of giving a tip if you're just going to add it to bill yourself anyway. That's ridiculous. I will not return here and that was my first time being in that facility. Clerk was a smart alac also. Charging 9.99 for an overpriced sandwich without bread pretty much. Taking craft cheese slices, deli sliced meat cut into chunks , and one boiled egg cut in half. ( Something I could've made at home for less honestly. Seeing as it was father's Day and with family had yo suck it up.) All in all Terribly disappointed.

1st time visiting. Ordered the goulash which was delicious. Plenty of it too. For dessert I had the Chocolate Creme Crunch Pie. Extraordinary taste and texture. Like a cake in a pie shell!!The waitress, Tina, was very friendly and attentive. Great place to eat!!

Pretty good. I think "family restaurant" in the states is code for every entree is big enough to feed a family. Here is no different - the portions are large and you get a soup with most items which is nice. I really liked the soup. They also offer fresh fruit with your meal as an alternative to fries which I thought was nice.

The food is good you don't have to wait long for it at all the service is freindly and there soup is excellent

I absolutely love this place! Their breakfast and wait staff is one of the best I've had in a long time!
